Cowboys Ranked No. 17 in NJCAA National Rankings

WARNER—Connors State Cowboys continue their steady climb up the National Junior College Athletic Association national rankings.

Connors which opened the 2017-18 basketball season ranked No.26, has moved upped 9 spots to No. 17 in the latest polled released by the NJCAA in Colorado Springs, Colo. Cowboys were ranked No. 19 in last week rankings.

The Cowboys are 19-2 for the year and 7-1 in the Oklahoma Collegiate Athletic Conference, tied with Northern Oklahoma- Tonkawa for the top spot in the OCAC at the half way mark of league action

Connors returns to OCAC play Thursday night at home against Northeastern A&M at Melvin Self Field House. Tip-off is 7:30 p.m. NEO is the only team to defeat the Cowboys in conference play, that was on the road in Miami, 77-71, last November.
