Cowboys Move Up to No.15 in NJCAA Basketball Poll


WARNER–Connors State Cowboys continue their steady climb up the National Junior College Athletic Association national rankings.

Connors which opened the 2017-18 basketball season ranked No.26, has moved upped 11 spots to No. 15 in the latest poll released by the NJCAA in Colorado Springs, Colo. Cowboys were ranked No. 17 in last week rankings.

The Cowboys are 21-2 for the year and 9-1 in the Oklahoma Collegiate Athletic Conference, and sits alone atop the OCAC standings.

Connors returns to OCAC play Thursday night at home against Murray State College at Melvin Self Field House after Monday night’s win over Seminole State, 99-86. Murray State tip-off is 7:30 p.m.
