Getting started with Connors State College Show Team
With More than 1,600 acres of farm and ranch land, Connors State College provides an exceptional educational opportunity for students interested in agriculture.
The Connors State College Beef Show Team was established in the Fall of 2012 with the intent of creating a collegiate team that would exhibit CSC’s cattle on a national platform.
Show Team members do numerous daily tasks, including feeding, rinsing, working hair, and walking cattle.
Members have the opportunity to participate with and work sales for ranches, such as: Langford Herefords, JAC’s Angus Ranch, Griswold Cattle Co., and KiamichiLink Ranch.
Connors State College raises registered Santa Gertrudis Angus, and Simmental cattle, with an emphasis on producing performance driven cattle using artificial insemination and embryo transfer. Connors State also partners with select breeders on top quality animals.
