Cowboys Drop Pair to Eastern State on Road in OCAC Play

 

WILBURTON—Connors State (36-7) dropped a pair of walk offs in Oklahoma Collegiate Athletic Conference play Saturday on the Mountaineers diamond.

 

Cowboys are now 15-6 in OCAC play, trailing league leader Seminole State who is 13-4 and 26-8 overall.

 

In game one the Cowboys led 7-1 before losing. Colton Burgess had three hits and Jake Northern a two-run homer, his 10th. Peyton Crispi also homered.

 

Keith Traylor (0-1) took the loss.

 

In game two Charlie Case (1-1) gave up the winning run, going 1 2/3 innings in relief.

 

Northern, Burgess and Carson Johnson had two hits each.
