The Cowboys have had more than their fair share of challenges the past several years, but they train to persevere and overcome. The 2019 season brought the Cowboys the challenge of playing every game away from their beloved Biff Thompson Field at Perry Keith Park. Most teams relish the opportunity to compete at home, but the 2019 Cowboys stepped up to challenge and made every field a home field and battled their way to the JUCO World Series. The 2020 season will forever be known as the season stolen by Covid, canceled after only a few games. Despite the inability to battle on the diamond, the Cowboys finished the year as a team. The 2021 Cowboys worked this Fall, preparing for the season, and again, the challenges have already begun. The Cowboys Opening Day, slated for February 8th, has been postponed several times since and is now scheduled for February 21st. The Cowboys appreciate the coverage they receive from Mike Kays of the Muskogee Phoenix, and below is a link to a recent story he published on the 2021 Cowboys and the upcoming season.
