Cowboys Swamp Oklahoma Wesleyan, 106-87 to remain Unbeaten at 8-0

WARNER—Connors State with six players scoring in double figures and surpassing the century mark for the sixth time this season rolled past Oklahoma Wesleyan College Junior Varsity 106-87 Monday night at Melvin Self Field House.

Cowboys will next take on Neosho County on Wednesday at Melvin Self Field House at 4 p.m.

"I thought we played much better in the second half offensively," said head coach Bill Muse. "Our defense was much improved the final 20 minutes and we shut them down."

Elijah Landrum led the Cowboys scoring attack with 27 points as Connors led 49-40 at the half.

Trailing Landrum in the scoring was Terrance Jones with 17, Jordan Graham 15, Tyrees Sidberry 15, Marvin Lowe 14 and Burke Putnam 12.

It was the second win of the season over Oklahoma Wesleyan, winning the first meeting 97-65.SSs
