Cowboys Fall in Regular Season Final

The Connors State College Cowboys went on the Road on Thursday Night to Murray State College in the Regular Season Finale and fell 77-71 inside Beams Field-House.

 The Cowboys (14-7) concluded OCAC play at 9-7 in while the Aggies (15-6) improved to 12-4 in OCAC.

Gavin Harris lead lead three Cowboys in double figures in the loss. The Cowboys were down 15 at the half in a 46-31 halftime score faving the Aggies. The Cowboys eventually took the lead with 5 minutes left in the game, but enventually saw Murray State regain to lead with just over 2 minutes to play in regulation. 

Gavin Harris had 25 Points and 14 Rebounds for the Cowboys. With that double double it now gives Harris 3 Double Doubles on the season. Mason Alexander followed with 13 points, while Sammy Mike added 10 points off the bench for the Cowboys.

Connors State shot 42 percent from the field and 39 percent from 3-point range.

The Cowboys will now turn their attention to Northeastern Oklahoma A&M (NEO) in the Quarterfinals of the NJCAA Region 2 Tournament to be held at the Stride Banch Center in Enid, Oklahoma this Year. The Cowboys and Norsement will open the Tournament at 1:00pm on Wednesday April 7th. The winner of that game will advance to Friday's Quarterfinals against the Winner of the 3:00pm game which features #1 Seed and #7 Nationally Northern Oklahoma College Tonkawa and the winner of Monday Nights Play-In Game between Redlands and Arkansas Baptist.
