Warner- For the Second Consecutive night, the Connors State Cowboys had little trouble with an opponent as they rolled Tuesday Night inside Melvin Self Field-House. with the win the cowboys move to 2-0 on the yound season

The cowboys had 6 players score in Double Figures on the night. Lead by Freshman Forward Marquel Sutton who recorded his second career Double Double with 17 Points and 10 Rebounds. 

The cowboys got outstanding production off the bench with Xavier Brown scoring 14 points off the bench for the Cowboys. 

10 of the 12 Cowboys who dressed got into the scoring collum on the Night. 

Freshman Forward Marquel Sutton lead tsix cowboys in double figure scoring with 17 points, Jordan Tillmon had 14, Xavier Glenn had 14, Xavier Brown had 14, Jahcoree Ealy had 14, DJ Basey had 12, Mason Alexander had 8, Jhamyl Fricas had 8, Greg Johnson had 6, and Sammy Mike had 2 for the Cowboys.

The cowboys held a commanding 49-21 lead at the break and increased their lead the first 5 minutews of the second half to blow the game open. The Cowboys played stiffling defense all night long in holding the Mustangs to 23 percent field goal shooting on the night. 

The Cowboys shot 63 percent from the field on the night, and also shot 56 percent from the 3 point line. The cowboys also shot an impressive 90 percent from the Free Throw Line.

The cowboys out rebounded the mustangs by 33 in a 55-22 rebound advantage on the night.

The Cowboys return home on Wednesday November 3rd to finish the current three game home stand to start the year against Mid-America Christian University. Tip-Off is scheduled for 6:30pm inside Melvin Slef Field-House.
