Cowboys Head into OCAC Play With Win

Oklahoma City- The Connors State College Cowboys went on the road to Mid-America Christian University on Monday Night and came away with a 78- 44 win inside the Gaulke Activity Center.

The Cowboys were up 33 at the half 52-19. In the second half the cowboys largest lead was 40 before the final margin of 34. The Cowboys dominated the game from start to finish and lead for the full 40 minutes. Connors dominated the Boards all night long, getting offensive rebounds, and second chance points. The Cownboys dished out 22 assist on the night and really shared the ball on the offensive end. 

The Cowboys had 3 players finish in double figures, lead by Freshman guard Jordan Tillmon who finished with 17 points. Marquel Sutton finished with 14 points. Jhamyl Fricas had 12 points. Jahcoree Ealy and Sammy Mike had 8 points. Mason Alexander had 7points. Xavier Brown had 5 Points. Xavier Glenn had 4 points and Brenden Dan had 3 points.

The Cowboys shot 51 percent from the floor, and an impressive 83 percent from the Free Throw Line. 

The Cowboys are back in action on Thursday Night inside Melvin Self Field-House to begin Oklahoma Collegiate Athletic Conference at 7:30pm against Seminole State College. The win moves the Cowboys to 8-0 on the season heading into Thursday nights clash with the Trojans.
