
Hot Springs, AR- The Connors State College Cowboys went on the road to National Park College and came away with a 89-76 Road Victory inside The Kettle.
The game was back and fourth for teh first 5 minutes of the game until the cowboys took controle of the game with about 15 minutes left in the first half. From that point on the cowboys controlled the game annd came away with a hard fought road victory.
The Cowboys held a 45-38 lead at The Half. The Cowboys lead by as many as 16 Points in the Second Half. The closest that National Park College would get the rest of the game was 9 with 7:00 minutes left in the game.
The Cowboys had 3 players finish in double figures, lead by Sophomore guard Xavier Glenn who finished with a career high 31 points. Donyae May followed him with 18 points. Tamaury Releford had 16 Points. Bradyn Hubbard had 9 points. Jhamyl Fricas had 7 Points. Mason Alexander had 5 points, and Xavier Brown had 3 points.
The Cowboys Shot 51 percent from field, and 29 percent from the 3 point line.
The Cowboys out rebounded the Nighthawks by 25 on the night with the final numbers being a 49-24 rebound advantage.
The Cowboys are back in action on Monday Night at 7:00pm inside Melvin Self Fieldhouse to take on Oklahoma Wesleyan for a Non-Conference Tilt.
