Warner, OK –Connors State's Xavier Glenn, 6-4 guard from Bixby,Oklahoma has been named Honorable Mention National Junior College Athletic Association All-American, it was announced in Charlotte, North Carolina.
The sophomore guard from Bixby, is the 21st player under Cowboys' head coach Bill Muse to be named to the NJCAA All-American team.
Glenn, who also was recently named First Team All Region, became the 11th player to score over 1,000 points (1,019, 11th all-time) during his two year career at Connors.
Glenn led the Cowboys to their fifteenth NJCAA National Tournament Appearance and 14th Region II Tournament Championship as a Freshman last season, Glenn averaged 21. 9 points, connecting on 257-of-484 attempts from the field for 53.1 percent this season.
Glenn was 28-of-83 from behind the arc connecting on 33.7 percent. At the free throw line he shot 76.2 percent connecting on 115-of-151 attempts.
