Cowboys Xavier Glenn Signs with Texas A&M Corpus Christi

Warner, OK- Xavier Glenn has signed to play basketball for the back to back Southland Conference Champions in Texas A&M Corpus Christi Islanders, it was officially announced today by Connors State's men's basketball head coach Bill Muse and Islanders head coach Jim Shaw.

He knows what it takes to win at a high level. In addition, Xavier adds a great ability to score and make plays for his teammates. He has all of the winning qualities we covet for our team."
 
Glenn helped lead the Cowboys to a 24-6 record this year and an appearance in the 2022 Opening Round of the NJCAA National Basketball Tournament after earning the No. 21 national seed in the event. Glenn had an overall record of 52 wins and 12 loses in his two seasons with the Cowboys.
 
The 6-foot-4 wing from Bixby, Oklahoma started all 30 games this past season, guiding an offense that put up 87.1 points-per-game on the season. He averaged 21.9 points, 3.7 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.7 steals per game, shooting 53.1 percent from the floor, 33.7 percent from three-point range and 76.1 percent from the free throw line.
 
He posted season and career highs of 37 points in a home win over South Arkansas Community College, collected as many as 8 rebounds in a game and handed out as many as 8 assists. Xavier scored in double figures for the cowboys in 27 of the 30 games this season which included 21 of the 30 contests of scoring over 20 points. 

Xavier was named an NJCAA Region 2 All Conference and All Region 1st Team Selection, and a NJCAA Honorable Mention All American during his sophomore campaign for the Cowboys.
