Connors Shooting Team Competes in San Antonio ACUI Contest

The Connors State Shotgun Shooting Sports team traveled to San Antonio, Texas on March 27 through March 31st to compete at the National ACUI contest.

They returned home with several honors, trophies, and medals.

Individually, Robert Ernsting placed second in Class A trap and the CSC team won the Division 4 American Skeet team title. The placed second in the American trap team, and third in International Skeet team division.

CSC also won International Trap team championship, third in Super Sporting team, second in High Point Overall School and third in Triple  AAA school.


Team members are sophomores, Zane Arnold, Logan Knight, and Blaine McKenzie.

Freshman members are Robert Ernsting, Kallen Hallman, Clay Galbreath, and Shelby Skaggs.

 The Shooting Sports Team is supported by Coach Jim Stone; Team Coordinator, Debby Golden; team manager, CSC student, Ashley Laughlin; and Team Advisor, Brandon Miller.
