Tuesday afternoon the NJCAA Women's Basketball Commitee released the 2022-2023 NJCAA All American Team and a familar face was on that list. Haitiana Releford a 5'10 freshman forward from Fort Smith, Arkansas was named to the NJCAA All American Honorable Mention Team. Yoni is one of 10 freshman out of 50 to recieve this honor. 

This past season Yoni averaged 21 points and 10 rebounds per game, recieved NJCAA Region 2 Player of the Week 4 different times, along with NJCAA National Player of the Week, Freshman Player of the Year and First Team All Region and All Conference. 

"I am happy for Yoni and her accomplishments, but the best part is she is a great teammate who is very humble." said Head Cowgirl Coach Jamie Fisher "We were very fortunate to have such a great group of young ladies this season including Yoni, and i am excited for her and this group of young ladies coming back for next season." 

"I am very excited to have recieved this honor, but I couldn't have done it without my teammates. I love them so much and had fun playing with them this season, and can't wait for us all to be together next year too." said Haitiana Releford
