Tebeck’s Clutch Hitting Propels Connors State Cowboys To Victory Over Arkansas Tech
Keshav Tebeck drove in five runs on three hits to lead Connors State Cowboys past Arkansas Tech 12-8 on Monday. Tebeck hit a home run to left field in the third scoring three, doubled in the first scoring one, and tripled in the third scoring one. Both offenses were strong at the plate as Connors State Cowboys collected 15 hits and Arkansas Tech nine in the high-scoring affair. Connors State Cowboys got on the board in the first inning after Tebeck doubled, scoring one run. Arkansas Tech took the lead in the bottom of the first. Caussey doubled, scoring two runs, to give Arkansas Tech the advantage, 2-1. Marc Nellis homered to left field, which helped Connors State Cowboys tie the game at two in the top of the second. Connors State Cowboys flipped the game on its head in the top of the third, scoring nine runs on six hits to take the lead, 11-2. The biggest blow in the inning was a home run to left field by Tebeck that drove in three. Gabriel Baldera stepped on the mound first for Connors State Cowboys. The pitcher allowed four hits and two runs over four innings, striking out six and walking none. Pelerson began the game for Arkansas Tech. The hurler allowed eight hits and 10 runs (three earned) over three innings, striking out one and walking three. Jace Jackson, Robert Medina, Bryan Gabino, and Beau Billeck each appeared in relief for Connors State Cowboys. Connors State Cowboys tallied 15 hits in the game. Seojin Kim went 4-for-4 at the plate to lead Connors State Cowboys in hits. Logan Hedrick, Brooks Hasenclever, and Nellis each collected multiple hits for Connors State Cowboys.
