Tebeck’s Clutch Hitting Propels Connors State Cowboys To Victory Over NEO A&M
Keshav Tebeck drove in four runs on one hit to lead Connors State Cowboys past NEO A&M 10-5 on Friday. In the first inning, Tebeck hit a grand slam to left field. The bottom of the lineup was strong for Connors State Cowboys. Landon Holzhauer, Marc Nellis, and Seojin Kim combined for five of the team's eight hits in their victory. They scored three runs and drove in three. Connors State Cowboys added to their early lead in the top of the second inning after Kim homered to left field, and Brooks Hasenclever grounded out, each scoring one run. Logan Hedrick hit a solo home run to left field in the top of the fourth for the Connors State Cowboys. Robert Medina pitched six and two-thirds innings in relief for Connors State Cowboys. The hurler allowed seven hits and two runs (one earned) while, striking out 11 and walking none. Jaxon Lee led things off on the bump for Connors State Cowboys. The righty surrendered two hits and three runs over one-third of an inning, striking out none and walking two. Kuiak started the game for NEO A&M. The hurler surrendered five hits and nine runs over four and one-third innings, striking out four and walking six. Nellis, Connors State Cowboys's number seven hitter, led the team with three hits in four at-bats. Connors State Cowboys had patience at the plate, accumulating nine walks for the game. Holzhauer and Maddox Edwards led the team with two walks each. Connors State Cowboys turned two double plays in the game. Connors State Cowboys were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Holzhauer made the most plays with 11.
