Cowboys Roll to Convincing victory over Redlands CC

Warner, OK- After trading baskets and starting a little slow, the Cowboys finally took the lead for good six minutes into the game and coasted to a 105-63 win. They were forced to go without starting guard Ty Frierson who suffered a knee injury in Saturday's game. But they still have super soph Bradyn Hubbard, the fourth leading scorer in the nation coming into this week and the Tulsa Memorial product didn't disappoint as he poured in 31 points.

"We're going to miss him (Frierson) and hopefully we can get him back, but we had other guys that stepped up tonight. Tony Green (23 points) played really well, and we rebounded the ball well and got off to a quick start and we never let up," said Connors Hall of Fame coach Bill Muse.

In addition to Hubbard and Green, point guard Donyae May had 15 points on the night while Cowboy big men Saiyd Burnside and Buddy Hammer had 11 and 10 points respectively as Connors moved to 18-1 on the year and a perfect 5-0 in OCAC play.

The Cowboys will see just how much they might miss Frierson's 13-points a game Thursday as they travel to Miami to test 24th ranked NEO and then return home Saturday for a make-up game against Northern-Tonkawa featuring Muskogee alum Javontae Campbell, the nation's third leading scorer.
