Cowboys Release 2025-2026 Schedule
Connors State head men's basketball coach Bill Muse has announced the Cowboys' 2025-2026 schedule. This season, he will embark on his thirty-fourth campaign at the helm of the Cowboys with a career record of 803 Wins and 265 Losses.
Warner, OK – Connors State head men's basketball coach Bill Muse has announced the Cowboys' 2025-2026 schedule. This season, he will embark on his thirty-fourth campaign at the helm of the Cowboys with a career record of 803 Wins and 265 Losses.
"Our schedule is a challenge once again," Muse said. "Our schedule features games in states of Oklahoma, Texas, and Kansas, which allows us to compete at the highest level".
"Southern Arkansas University Tech will make the trip to Melvin Self Fieldhouse this year for the first time since to 20218-2019 season," Muse said. While Dallas College- Eastfield will make the trip up to Warner for the 1st time in the short series after last season's game was postponed. A challenging road trip to Independence Community College in the middle of November are on the schedule this year along with three home and home series with the Grayson College, Hill College, and Allen Community College".
The Cowboys' first three games of the 2025-2026 season will be at home with Allen Community College coming to Melvin Self Fieldhouse for a Monday Night Home Opener at 7 p.m. on Nov. 3rd. Arkansas State University- Newport (Nov. 8), and Central Baptist College (Nov. 10), will round out the opening slate of home games before Connors State hits the road for the first time during the 2025-2026 season with a two game non-conference road trip battle KJCCC Member Independence Community College (Nov. 12) before returning to the Road on Saturday, November 15th to take on the Rebels of Hill College at 4:00 pm in Hillsboro, Texas
Connors State then returns home for a two-game homestand with Dallas College- Eastfield (Nov. 17), and Mid-America Christian (Nov. 18), before hitting the road again on Saturday November 22nd at Grayson College in Denison, Texas. The Cowboys will return to the friendly combines of Melvin Self Fieldhouse to take on the Region 2 Tournament Division 2 Runner-Ups in Southern Arkansas University Tech on November 26th. After spending Thanksgiving at home with families the Cowboys will finish the homestand with Grayson College on December 1st at 7:30 pm. Following the homestand, the Cowboys will hit the road to Oklahoma City to take on Mid-America Christian on December 2nd in a Back-to-Back.
Connors State returns to Melvin Self Fieldhouse following the Tuesday Night Road Game to begin the final non-conference Homestand of the first semester with a Friday Night (Dec. 5th) Home contest against Southwestern Christian before finishing with Hill College on December 8th at 7:00pm inside Melvin Self Fieldhouse. The Cowboys will finish the first-semester on the road to take on Allen Community College on December 11th to finish the first semester before the Christmas holidays.
The Back to Back OCAC Regular Season Champions will open the 16-game Conference slate with a home game against the Redlands Community College (Jan. 5). The Cowboys will hit the road for the first time in 2026 after having the week off due to having the bye week when they take on Eastern Oklahoma State College (Jan. 12). Connors State will return home to take on the aggies of Murray State College (Jan. 13). Following the Thursday Nigh Home Game the Cowboys will turn their attention to the A&M Rivalry Game, to battle Northeastern Oklahoma A&M (Jan. 19). After the Monday night road rivalry game with the Norsemen, the Cowboys will return home for a Thursday Night Showdown when they face off against the Pioneers of Western Oklahoma State College on January 22 to begin a two game homestand. The Cowboys will finish the mini two-game homestand with a Monday Night battle with the Mavericks of Northern Oklahoma College- Tonkawa on January 26th. Following the brief home stand, the Cowboys return to the road to take on Seminole State College (Jan. 29) to finish the January slate of games.
The February slate begins with a Monday Night contest as the Cowboys will take on the Jets of Northern Oklahoma College- Enid (Feb. 2) inside Melvin Self Fieldhouse. The February Road portion, of the Conference schedule starts with Redlands Community College (Feb. 5) before returning home to take on Eastern Oklahoma State College in a Rivalry Game (Feb. 12). The Cowboys return to the road for a Monday Night OCAC showdown with Murray State on February 16, before returning home for the A&M Rivalry Game to take on Northeastern Oklahoma A&M on February 19.
Connors State ends OCAC play with three road games and one home game. The Cowboys return to the Road for a mini two game road trip to take on Western Oklahoma State College (Feb. 23), and Northern Oklahoma College- Tonkawa on February 26th. The Cowboys then close out the home part of the conference schedule with Seminole State College (Mar. 2nd) on Sophomore Night inside Melvin Self Fieldhouse. The Cowboys close out the regular season on March 5th against Northern Oklahoma College- Enid in Enid Oklahoma before turning their attention to the 2026 NJCAA Region 2 South Central District Tournament.
The NJCAA Region 2 South Central District Tournament will take place March 12-14 in Muskogee, Oklahoma inside Rougher Village on the campus of Muskogee High School.
