Cowgirl Soccer Releases 2025 Schedule
WARNER - The Connors State women's soccer team has announced its schedule for the 2025 season.
Adam Skolnick, who started the team in 2023, will lead the team from the dugout for a third season. He is joined by assistant coach Richard Benge, who returns for his third season and continues his work with the goalkeepers.
The Cowgirls enter 2025 after a strong second season that saw the team improve from one win to four wins, finishing with an overall record of 4-13-1. The team will be led by eight sophomores who played in at least 10 matches in 2024.
This year, the coaches in Region 2 voted to split the region into two divisions. The Cowgirls were assigned to a division with NEO, NOC-Enid, Redlands, and Rose State. The other division consists of Eastern Oklahoma State, Murray State, Rich Mountain, and reigning Region 2 champions Seminole State. The Region 2 schedule will have teams play every team in their division twice and the teams in the other division once.
After two exhibition games in August, Connors State will officially kick off its 2025 season with a non-conference matchup against the University of the Ozarks on August 23rd before starting Region 2 play on September 3rd in El Reno against Redlands.. The Cowgirls are then home for the next three games, starting with NOC-Enid on September 7th and Eastern Oklahoma State on September 10th. The three-game homestand wraps up on September 14th with the A&M Derby against NEO.
Other home games include the return match against Redlands, games against South Division opponents Murray State and Seminole State, and the regular season finale against Rose State on October 22nd.
Connors State will be on the road for matches against Eastern Oklahoma State, Rich Mountain, and the away matches against the North Division schools.
The South District Tournament will be played at the Advance Soccer Complex in Enid from October 30th through November 2nd.
The women's schedule can be found here. Our home venue and kick-off times will be posted closer to the start of the season.
